SEM is when you purchase ads on search engines and websites who have partnerships with search engines to get your brand in front of more people. SEM can be complicated but there are services out there to manage the search engine marketing for you! For most outsourcing SEM can help you get marketing on search engines without adding more work for yourself. Most times with SEM marketing you just pay a total of the amount budgeted to spend on SEM.
Social Media
With close to 3.03 billion people on social media, it is hard as a business to avoid being social. As a business you should be where your customers are and they are on social media. I would suggest that as a business you invest some time into social media. Being active on social media will help keep your business fresh in the minds of potential and current clients.
When using social media make sure you are tailoring your content to fit your audience. More than ever before influencer marketing has became a hit with social media because of how authentic and honest the reviews the influencers give. Forbes says it best:
